A most exciting Second North American Record Southern Lapwing is attracting birders to see and photograph it at a south Texas golf course. The Southern Lapwing also created a First State Record for Texas, while a Townsend’s Solitaire documented in South Carolina established a Third State Record. Birders continue to find more European birds in Newfoundland, including a flock of 5 Black-tailed Godwits and a Graylag Goose. In addition, there was a wealth of rare birds sightings last week for you to review!
