The Northeast Hawk Watch will hold its 11th Regional Hawk Migration Conference on Saturday March 30 at Holyoke Community College in Holyoke, Massachusetts. The all-day conference features nine presentations by some of the nation’s premier authorities on birds of prey. Presentations include Osprey movements and the new technology used to track them, the behavioral ecology of urban raptors in cities, the latest Raptor Population Index, and the importance of migration counts and what they tell us.

Anyone interested in birds should find this conference very informative, and fun. Registration for the conference is open, and for more information including speakers’ abstracts and registration forms, visit http://www.battaly.com/nehw/conference/
