November Birding Festivals

A variety of ducks will be observed at each of November’s birding festivals, but only the Texas and Florida events hold the promise of seeing a Fulvous Whistling Duck (photo by Paul Konrad).

Some of the best and longest running birding festivals take place during November, with the Rio Grande Valley Birding Festival based in Harlingen, Texas leading the way for their 30th year! Also, celebrating their 25th year is the Lodi Sandhill Crane Festival in the Central Valley of California. Each of the November birding festivals provides great opportunities for adults, children, and families to spend time with local guides to assist you, and to learn from knowledgeable speakers and others who make each birding festival unique and so much fun.
