After Guizhou, South-West China fishermen pulled this strange looking fish the other day, there has been no shortage of speculation as to, well, what it was. Bird? Fish? Bird/Fish?
It, according to the Guizhou Research Institute’s scientists, a deformed carp. And the deformity apparently isn’t that uncommon. It’s most likely cause is either a deformity during embryonic development or a lack of oxygen due to overcrowded fish farming.
