The livestreaming nest cam at a Bald Eagle nest near Codorus State Park in Hanover, Pennsylvania, has launched for a fifth season with Hawk Mountain Sanctuary joining HDOnTap and Comcast Business as a partner in the project. Hawk Mountain and HDOnTap will work together to help educate livestream viewers through a blog to be updated and posted bi-weekly during peak nesting season. Although the live action may be limited this early in the season, the Bald Eagles will provide plenty of interesting live behavior at the nest site, and viewers can view interesting videos recorded recently.

The Pennsylvania Game Commission awarded a permit to HDOnTap to manage the cameras at the nest and live-stream the action for the fifth successive year. During the live-stream’s first four seasons, the game commission secured permission for audio and video equipment and components to be installed at the Hanover nest, and the 24-7 livestream is made possible through Hawk Mountain and HDOnTap to help educate live-stream viewers through a blog to be updated and posted bi-weekly during the peak nesting season.
