The New BirdSpotter Photo Contest Begins

What constitutes a contest-winning photo? Select your best image to enter in the new BirdSpotter Photo Contest (Bonaparte’s Gull photo by Paul Konrad).

Enter your best bird photo in the new BirdSpotter Photo Contest, sponsored by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and Wild Birds Unlimited, who are teaming up to give you a great way to share your best bird photo with others and win prizes. Pick out your best bird photo and enter it before February 4th! Staff members will select 10 favorite photos, but that’s when you and anyone else can judge the Top 10 photos by voting online from February 19 to March 18, 2024. Keep in mind that you can submit any photo you've taken at any time – send your best to win.

Wild Birds Unlimited and the Cornell Lab will award the following prizes, based on the BirdSpotter voting results: 1st Prize is a $300 Wild Birds Unlimited gift certificate; 2nd Prize is a $200 Wild Birds Unlimited gift certificate; and 3rd Prize is a $100 Wild Birds Unlimited gift certificate – plus, each of the Top 10 bird photographers will be invited to choose one free Bird Academy online course.
