Photographs documented a First State Record White-throated Swift in North Carolina and a Third State Record White-throated Swift in Oklahoma.

It turns out that 3 days after the sighting of a Second North American Record Eurasian Sparrowhawk on Adak Island in the Aleutians of Alaska, a different European Sparrowhawk was documented on Adak creating a Third North American Record and Third State Record for the species. There were 4 new First Records, including a Swainson’s Hawk in Georgia, a Short-tailed Shearwater in Saskatchewan, a Crissal Thrasher in Colorado, and a White-throated Swift in North Carolina. Coincidentally, a Third State Record White-throated Swift was photographed in Oklahoma – and there’s more to report:
