Do you offer an educational program for young people between the ages of 6 and 18?
Does your program focus on getting kids out into nature? On birds? Conservation? Leadership and teamwork? Science? Environment and social justice? On any of the above?
Would you like to enrich your program with BirdNote stories and resources?
BirdNote is seeking three to four environmental education partners who would like to experiment with ways of incorporating BirdNote into their program. We are offering grants of $5,000 to support this work.
Our goal is to engage young, diverse audiences with BirdNote stories – stories that invite listeners to pause, to tune in to nature, to care about birds, and to take steps to protect them.
Our application process is quick and easy. Deadline: November 3, 2017.
The Next Generation program is produced by BirdNote in collaboration with E3 Washington, Washington State's NAAEE affiliate.
