Connecticut – BirdCallsRadio & Podcast is pleased to announce a NEW Series called "Women In Conservation" with our FIRST guest Laura Erickson joining me this week on Thursday, June 29, 2017. Laura is the first and only woman recipient of the American Birding Association's prestigious Roger Tory Peterson Award. Laura has been talking about birds since she memorized the "Bird" entry in her family's encyclopedia when she was a preschooler. She whistled in a cardinal when she was very little.
BCR Host, Mardi Dickinson will continue to bring exciting and forward thinking guests including birders, artists, educators, authors, scientists, and organizations to interested listeners recorded in a new state-of-the-art digital broadcasting studio which enables location reporting from birding and conservation hot spots. New guests, as before, will include key players with interests in bird identification, conservation, equipment, gardening, nature tours, and ornithology.
Our goal is to get beyond a few sounds bytes through in depth conversations designed to provide a more thorough examination of a given subject. We are excited too about continued plans for on location reporting from birding and conservation hot spots around the world and through regular and timely field updates.
We have developed a unique voice worldwide in all matters relating to wild birds and conservation. There is simply no other media outlet with the same broad scope and in depth content anywhere. People can listen to us by streaming directly on our BirdCallsRadio & Podcast website, or available through our FREE podcasts in iTunes or Stitcher on all Mac, PC and Android platforms through subscriptions.
