The Bird Photographer of the Year contest is a global photographic competition that emphasizes the beauty and diversity birds, with a tribute to the flexibility and quality of today’s modern digital camera and lens systems. Prizes awarded included the top prize of more than $4,000 cash, plus a host of other prizes including camera equipment from OM System.
Each year, BPOTY produces a high quality “coffee-table” book featuring the best images from the competition. This year is no different, with almost 300 images featured in the hardback collection. The book, entitled Collection 9, features all the awarded and commended images from the 2024 Contest, and it is a great source for you to draw inspiration from for your next photo session with birds.
