It’s that time of the year again, when seed- and suet-eating birds dominate feeding stations in the northern latitudes; while farther south (much farther south) fruit, seeds, and nectar attract tropical birds. Now you can see the action in Canada (Ontario), America (New York), and Panama where exciting birds are visiting backyard feeders, including northern finches like Evening Grosbeaks and Pine Siskins, and Latin American gems like motmots, aracaris, tanagers, and hummingbirds. And if the action isn’t lively enough when you check in, there are video highlights to see too.
It’s all brought to you by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology at All About Birds, so when you need more information about the northern birds, you can easily access AAB information about seasonal distribution and natural history, as well as male and female plumages and more. It’s easy to regularly check on the action and changes in the variety of birds feeding at Cornell Lab Bird Cams | Cornell Lab Bird Cams (allaboutbirds.org)
